About the machine
The FL5 gives a true single-pass carton production of highly embellished cartons. The FL5 starts with a reel of board
and produces a finished and stripped die-cut carton with foiling, cast and cure, embossing, laminating, gravure or screen printing all in a single pass.
Superior print quality is achieved due to the unique UniPrint printhead geometry of the Edale FL range.
Why it is popular?
The FL5 has been built on Edale's extensive experience of multiple substrate handling; the FL5 has the ability to run substrates from 12 micron
to 700 microns without any mechanical changes to the press due to its full servo driven design and advanced tension control. Edale's AiiR system
gives autonomous register and motorisation of all print adjustments giving quick and repeatable set-up for production with minimal operator
input via the intuitive HMI control panel.
